Update #2: Bug Fixes and Other Areas


Hi all! 

First of all, thank you so much for everyone who has tried out my game! I got way more people than I expected, and am forever grateful!
I'm still in the process of collecting feedback and bug reports (and some of them have been hilarious!), but I wanted to write up a quick devlog of what I'm working on now.


I'm hoping to upload a new version of the demo next Friday :) You guys can hold me accountable - that's October 11th.

Improvements for Demo Areas

  • Improving grabbing ledges - the player would not grab onto a  ledge when standing right next to its' wall. Grabbing onto ledges is actually one of the toughest parts of the game to program for me. But in the next version, this should be much better.
  • Adding some more invisible wall to help players not stray into buggy territory. Particularly for the last puzzle in the house (top floor), and one of the tree puzzles right before the house.
  • Improving the second windmill puzzle. Currently, it's not obvious what to do, and actually seems like a bug on the surface. I am working on streamlining the sequence of events so the player can make a clear link to what's actually going on.
  • Added a character in the house (somewhat hidden - try to find him (though he's non-interactive (at the moment))!)
  • Improving the clock/door puzzle. Just added something at the beginning to better guide the player. Don't want to give too much away and make it easy ;)


Areas outside of Demo

  • Working on a new "Cliff" area in the game. This will come after the house. 
  • "Seed Walkers" - these guys are in the cliff area and roam the mountains.
