My first mobile game
Hi all,
INTRODUCTION
I've been developing 2D games for about 3 years but I've never tried creating a mobile game before until now. I decided to try my hand at building a casual 2D side roller *wink wink* and this is what I came up with. It took me a total of 3 months to develop (I work an unrelated full time job, and took breaks in-between). Overall, I think it was a very valuable and enjoyable experience.
GOOGLE PLAY
Although this build is on the browser, I'm in the process of uploading it to the Google Play store. Thankfully, the process looks less complicated than uploading to the Steam store - my goodness that was a nightmare ;)
STYLE
I really enjoy art with a muted color pallet, so I focused on a dark blue-ish, muted color for this game.
I also attempted to capture an atmospheric vibe using large objects in the distance in addition to low-fi sci-fi music.
GOING FOREWORD
I don't plan on making an further updates to this game, but I would enjoy any feedback/comments :D
Now on to my next project!
Cheers!
